Description

Castrol Hyspin DSP oils are mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids with cleaning and detergent properties and are therefore classified as HLP-D hydraulic oils. Castrol Hyspin DSP oils comply with the international classification of hydraulic oils Type HM according to ISO 6743/4. The properties of the solvent-refined, paraffin-based base oils are enhanced by zinc-free additives to increase oxidation stability, minimize foaming, and ensure long machine life through good wear and reliable corrosion protection.

Applications

Castrol Hyspin DSP oils are used in hydraulic systems and gearboxes of machine tools, as well as in mobile hydraulic units. They are only suitable for slideway lubrication to a limited extent. Castrol slideway oils from the Castrol Magna SW series, with an additive system specifically designed for Castrol Hyspin DSP, are more suitable for this purpose. Castrol Hyspin DSP oils are resistant to aging, protect against wear, and, because they are zinc-free, are resistant to mixing. Castrol Hyspin DSP is easily removed from cooling lubricant emulsions by skimming. Its good wetting properties make Castrol Hyspin DSP particularly suitable for use in hydraulic units with very slow movements. The oil reduces stick-slip effects between the seal and piston rod, thus ensuring smooth movement and reducing seal wear.

Castrol Hyspin DSP meets the requirements for hydraulic oils HLP-D according to DIN 51524-2.
