Description

Castrol Hyspin HVI oils are high VI (>140) mineral oil-based oils with zinc-free anti-wear additives. They combine excellent lubrication properties with very good filterability.

Applications

Castrol Hyspin HVI oils are designed for use in highly stressed hydraulic systems that require special wear protection properties and good fine filterability. Their main application is in outdoor machinery exposed to widely fluctuating temperatures. Due to their good thermal stability, Castrol Hyspin HVI oils can be used as multigrade hydraulic oils in construction machinery year-round under a wide range of climatic conditions. The oils in the Castrol Hyspin HVI series are formulated with elastomer materials commonly used for static and dynamic seals.

The equipment manufacturer's recommendations regarding oil change intervals and filtration should be observed. Ensure that hydraulic systems are thoroughly flushed before final filling with Castrol Hyspin HVI. If necessary, the oil should be filtered during filling. Mixing with zinc-containing oils should be avoided to maintain the positive performance characteristics.
