Description

Castrol Viscogen KL 3 chain spray is a temperature-stable synthetic lubricant specifically designed for chain lubrication.
It is extremely pressure-absorbing, free of solids and silicone-containing additives and forms an exceptionally adhesive lubricating film.

Application

The Castrol Viscogen KL 3 chain spray is suitable for all industrial areas, e.g. in: high-bay warehouses, bakery machines, painting systems, transport chains, clamping and drying frames, dryers, washing systems, underfloor chains, dampers, sizing machines, ovens, slideways, spindles, ropes, open gears, plastic toothed belts, sheet-fed offset machines, and much more.

Instructions for use

The Castrol Viscogen KL range is available in various viscosities, which are selected according to the ambient and operating conditions. The dimensions of the chain and its design (e.g., roller, pin, inverted tooth, plug-in, or Gall) are also important for the correct viscosity selection. The application method of the lubricant (e.g., manual lubrication, drip-feed, centralized lubrication, sump lubrication, or spray can) must also be considered. Castrol Viscogen KL lubricants can be applied economically using adjustable spray heads.
Spray foam remains until the oil has penetrated into the friction point.
If the lubricant drips, select the next higher viscosity. Castrol Viscogen KL products are miscible with mineral oil. The following products in the range are also available in aerosol cans:
