Mobil Vactra™ Oil No. 4 is a high-viscosity slideway oil specially developed for large machine tools with high slideway pressures. It offers excellent lubrication performance, controlled friction properties, and reliable protection against corrosion – even when in contact with water-miscible cooling lubricants. It is particularly suitable for vertical and inclined slideways where lubricant runoff must be prevented.
Application
Recommended for large machines with vertical or inclined slideways, ball screws, linear guides, headstocks, and screw jacks. It can also be used as a gear oil in machine tools. It can be used with manual lubrication, forced lubrication, or flooding systems.
