The latest high-performance turbocharged gasoline direct injection engines may be subject to harmful LSPI events due to uncontrolled fuel ignition.
With its excellent wear protection, Shell Helix HX7 helps extend the engine life of modern vehicles under demanding everyday driving conditions. Shell Helix HX7 can be used in gasoline engines, diesel vehicles (without particulate filters), and vehicles with gas engines. It is also suitable for biodiesel and gasoline blended with ethanol.
It is also suitable for use in modern turbocharged gasoline engines with direct injection, where it provides protection against harmful pre-ignition at low speeds (LSPI - Low Speed Pre-Ignition).
