Miscibility with other oils

Shell Tellus S2 VX 15 is miscible with commercially available mineral oil-based hydraulic oils. However, mineral oil-based hydraulic oils should generally not be mixed with other fluid types, such as biodegradable or flame-resistant hydraulic fluids.

Compatibility with surrounding materials

Shell Tellus S2 VX 15 is compatible with common sealing materials and paints designed for use with mineral oil.
